Yoga means union.
Union between body, breath, movements and mind.
Being aware of everything that is happening inside with no judgment and accepting wherever you are at.
I am teaching both dynamic and restorative/Yin yoga, because everybody is different and need a personalized approach.
The dynamic pratices I teach are Vinyasa and Rocket:
Vinyasa can be defined by the fluidity of the movements.
The body is moving throughout the whole sequence. You will gain strength, flexibility, build balance, and maintain inner harmony while the mind quiets down.
Rocket is a routine based on a modification of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary and Intermediate series, that remove the hierarchy of postures.
Sequences are incorporating advanced and balancing poses, which makes it fun while remaining accessible to beginners.
While Vinyasa and Rocket focus on active, moving tissues like muscles and blood flow, Yin yoga is a passive, static pratice, targeting less mobile connective tissues in your joints.
This is a slow-paced practice, poses are held for about 3 to 5 minutes which allow a deep stretching in the connective tissues.
Some need an intense physical pratice to stop the chatters of the mind, whereas some need a relaxing environment with a slow practice to dive in.
There is no right or wrong, you just need to find the one that works best for you.
